About
I’m Mark, a documentary and educational video editor/producer in Greater NYC with over 10 years of experience.
I've edited and directed one feature documentary, H.O.P.E. Was Here, which streamed on Hulu and Amazon Prime and continues to screen at universities across North America, from NYU to the University of Toronto to the University of Washington.
My doc-style commercial videos, which include pieces for Renaissance Hotels, BU, Sabra, Ruder Finn, and the New York Rangers, in addition to my work at MSG Networks, have earned a New York Emmy Award and multiple Telly Awards and have allowed me to explore a range of industries, including health & wellness, sports, and entrepreneurship.
E-learning has been my bread and butter for the past 4 years. At Big Think I led the production of hundreds of online video lessons taught by the world's top experts, from Navy SEALs to Fortune 500 CEOs to Emmy Award-Winning actors, who shared advice for both individuals and businesses on productivity, teamwork, communication, and more. Our guests included Elon Musk, Richard Branson, Tim Ferriss, Barbara Corcoran, Arianna Huffington, Jimmy Carter, Bill Nye, Steven Pinker, Deepak Chopra, and Bryan Cranston, among many others.
My educational work continues at Foundr, where I edit premium video courses taught by entrepreneurs with 7 and 8-figure businesses. This involves transforming 3-camera shoots into polished 6+ hour courses, complete with instructional text and motion graphics.
My core strength is picture editing in Adobe Premiere Pro, though I have a growing proficiency with After Effects.
I studied film and television at Boston University’s College of Communication, where I fell in love with the art of telling stories about real people.
